First grade is not only about new knowledge, but also a serious test for a child's body. Without preparation, this leads to overstrain of the back and neck, pain, and decreased concentration.
Prolonged sitting at a desk overloads the spine. Muscles cannot cope, and the child begins to slouch, fidget, get tired quickly, and lose attention.
Therapeutic physical education (LFK) forms a muscle corset that will support the spine throughout the entire school day.
Strengthening back and abdominal muscles
Simple exercises like the "boat" or plank will help the back withstand static positions without tension.
Balance training
Balance exercises develop coordination and teach the body to automatically maintain the correct posture.
Breathing exercises
They saturate the brain with oxygen and help maintain attention during the lesson for longer.
A properly selected backpack (worn on both straps!) and an organized workspace at home are the key to healthy posture. These are just as important elements of preparation as exercises.
